Connecting architecture, industry and innovation through integrated photovoltaics
Connecting architecture, industry and innovation through integrated photovoltaics
Two days to explore how photovoltaics can become an integral part of buildings, landscapes, mobility and infrastructure—and to meet the organisations turning this ambition into practice.
The Integrated Photovoltaics Conference 2026 brings together architecture, solar technology, industry, research and public policy. Through project examples and open discussions, participants will explore what makes integrated PV work: design quality, technical performance, manufacturing capacity and viable business models.
Opening perspectives
The opening session will feature a message from the European Commission, a keynote speech by the IPVC 2026 Conference Chair, and contributions from KEY – Italian Exhibition Group, ETA Florence Renewable Energies and Tecnalia, coordinator of the Seamless-PV project.

Solar Energy in Buildings
From architectural vision to industrial delivery
- Architecture and PV: creating value through integration
How photovoltaics can enhance architectural quality while delivering energy, functional and economic value. Perspectives from Foster + Partners, Sunsoak, Arconsol and Flexbrick. - Designing BIPV: from concepts to technical solutions
Technologies and practical experience with Met Solar, Glass to Power, Soltech and Onyx Solar, including a debate on moving integrated PV from niche applications to mainstream adoption. - From buildings to urban regeneration
With contributions from Urbanpromo, explore how PV integration connects with urban planning, neighbourhood transformation and the needs of local authorities. - Manufacturing BIPV: production and scale-up
Components, manufacturing technologies and routes to industrial deployment, with perspectives from FuturaSun, CSEM, Tecnalia and PIZ.
The day will close with an introduction to the EU Solar Buildings Platform, followed by a networking reception.
4 December
PV Everywhere
Integrating solar energy into agriculture, landscapes and mobility
- Agrivoltaics in practice
Case studies and lessons learned: bringing together agricultural production, solar generation and project development. - Agrivoltaics and landscape
Exploring the relationship between energy, agriculture, landscape design and investment. - PV in mobility and infrastructure
Opportunities and practical challenges for integrating photovoltaics beyond buildings, with contributions from Lightyear, SoliTek and Stalcorp.
Why join IPVC 2026?
REGISTER HERE arrow_forwardMeet the people and organisations needed to turn integrated PV ideas into projects.
IPVC offers a focused setting where architects can exchange ideas with manufacturers, developers can connect with researchers, and public authorities can discuss implementation with industry.
Panel discussions, poster presentations, networking breaks and a reception provide opportunities to share experience, explore solutions and establish collaborations across sectors.
Join us in Florence to help shape the next generation of integrated photovoltaics.
This preview presents selected programme highlights. Further contributions and the full speaker line-up will be announced progressively. Programme subject to updates.
